Tameside MBC is tackling anti social behaviour and community cohesion with a range of schemes designed to engage with the local community. The Community Panel and Community Chest Funds have been set up with savings made from recycling and targeted for different community projects across the borough. The Caterham Car Scheme works with disadvantaged youths and local volunteers, enabling them to have fun in a safe environment and learn new skills.
